"Who needs wind?" - Shipwright Summary
The Koi is a level two specialty ship that ignores wind as it is rowed with paddles. The Koi, although it can be crafted at level two, needs paddles in order to operate, which require a Crafting level of five.
The Koi can be paddled by one person, though it generally reaches higher speeds if two experienced people are paddling. Combined with the amount of passive turning during travel, its speed, and the rowing pattern of the crew, this makes the Koi quite difficult to control when rowing for the first time.

- Named after the unique Amur Carp found in Japan. Its name literally means "Carp" in Japanese. The Amur Carp or Koi is kept as luxury pets in small to medium ponds.
